School Fees Loans
- In order to qualify for school loan, a member must save for it, which means that every month a member must make an undertaking to save for school savings.
- School fees loan is entirely based on ordinary savings. The school savings acts as a pledge for the school fees loan and not necessarily for calculating entitlement.
- Under school fees loan, there is no limit. One can borrow as much as the entitlement permits provided member will be able to pay that amount in a period not exceeding 18 months.
- School or institution prospectus must be attached.
Emergency Loans
- The maximum amount is E15000.00 payable over twelve months.
- The same requirements that apply under development loan also apply under the emergency loan.
- It is based on the ordinary savings.
- There is an additional letter which must be written by the branch secretary explaining the emergency of the application.
Loan Insurance
Every loan taken is insured against death This is compulsory and it’s not negotiable.
Funeral Scheme Insurance
Participation in this scheme is voluntary or by choice. This policy covers up to 6 members of your family. Interested members are required to pay this amount at the beginning of Lubane financial year which is July.
